Yip, world renowned pharmacy and make-up haven, Boots, have finally opened its doors on Myeongdong’s shopping street. And mahn am I pleased. Nothing to beat that work week stress like a good old retail therapy shopping spree. Not that I bought much but just a browse through the 3 floors of cosmetics & skincare is enough to satisfy any shopper. We are finally able to get our hands on Boots’ very own No.7, Soap&Glory and Liz Earle, not to mention various international brands such as Urban Decay, which I am rather excited about, as well as Neal’s Yard Remedies! It’s absolutely wild to think that South Korea’s already expansive cosmetic industry can still boost such sensation. We’ve been drowning in a sea of Korean roadshops and it’s refreshing to have some affordable western competition. But do price check brands that can be found elsewhere in Korea as Origins’ face masks are being sold for a lot less at Olive Young. Now I feel like I should stock up on face masks just in case OY raises their prices. Okay this is a Boots post, not an Olive Young ad. So here are some snaps of the Myeongdong branch, which by the way, is easy to find. Enter the main shopping street from Lotte’s side and walk straight until you see its sign.
